First Steps
After your account is created, complete a short two-step setup to configure your garage profile — the vehicle types you handle and the services you offer.
The setup wizard runs once, immediately after your first login. You can update all of these settings later from your Account Settings page.

Vehicle Types
Select the types of vehicles your garage works on.
Services
Choose the services your garage provides.
Go Live
Your garage is installed and ready to use.
Select Your Vehicle Types
Choose all vehicle types that your garage accepts. This helps customers know whether you can service their vehicle.
You must select at least one vehicle type to proceed to the next step.

Select Your Services
Choose the services your garage provides. These define which modules are activated in your SmartGenix account.
You must select at least one service to complete the setup.
MOT Testing
UK OnlyOfficial MOT inspections for roadworthiness certification.
Available to UK garages only
Vehicle Services
Routine maintenance — oil changes, brake checks, tyre replacements, etc.
Available to all regions
Repairs
Mechanical and bodywork repair jobs for all vehicle types.
Available to all regions
Recovery
Roadside assistance and vehicle recovery operations.
Available to all regions
Garage Installation
Once you confirm your service selection, SmartGenix automatically sets up your garage infrastructure. This process takes around 20 seconds.
Processing
Your vehicle types and services are saved.
Installing
Your garage profile and modules are being configured.
Complete
You're redirected to your dashboard, ready to use.
Do not close the browser tab during installation. If the installation fails, your settings are rolled back automatically and you can try again.
After the setup is complete
Once your garage is installed, you have full access to your SmartGenix dashboard. Here's what you can do straight away:
